Which type of contact lens suits me?
From your contact lens fitting we can advise on which type of contact lenses best suit your eyes. There are daily disposable, two weekly disposable and monthly disposable contact lenses. There are also gas permeable and specialised lenses for astigmatism.
What age do I have to be to try contact lenses?
We are fitting teenagers and pre-teens with daily disposable contact lenses. They are especially suitable for keen sports people. Contact lenses offer the best option for under a hurling Helmet.
I am over 40 years old – What are my options?
If you require a different prescription for distance and near there are varifocal contact lenses available. We fit some patients with monovision where one eye is corrected for distance and the other eye for near. Some people use contact lenses for distance vision and reading glasses for near.
I would like to wear contact lenses for sport - What are my options?
Daily disposable contact lenses are safe and convenient and very suitable for sport and occasional wear.
